What is All This About Anyway?

Having made almost 51 loops around the sun, I’ve picked up a few things here and there. Could I have retained more? Hell yes! Nonetheless, I’ve decided to take the things I’ve learned and throw them into this blog.

What will I see here?

Well, you’re probably going to see quite a few technical articles and write-ups since so much of my professional career has revolved around technology. I’m not sure that anything will be earth-shatteringingly new; however, it will all be based on my personal insight and experiences. Take that as you will, but hopefully, it’s helpful or insightful in some way.

Some of my content will be related to my other, non-technical, interests. I have so many it’s difficult to find a place to start. I’m an avid off-roader. I have a very cool Jeep that takes me on some fun adventures. I love my Harley-Davidson (when the crazy Texas weather permits me to ride it). This, too, takes me on fun adventures and clears my head. In addition to motorized passions, I love board games of all types. I am an avid collector of various games, and I love spending a weekend evening plotting and strategizing my way to victory (or loss). I also enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, shooting, and smoking various items like brisket, pulled pork, etc. Basically, if there’s a hobby for it, I probably like it.

Given all these varied interests, I imagine you’ll see anything from product reviews to write-ups on interesting books, games, etc. You might even see some blog entries about fun adventures while overlanding. Who knows?
